Saturday morning 90 minute treat at Balanced Living

9.30 am-11.00 am Yin/Yang. Mixed Levels.

This is a fabulous 90 minute Yin/ Yang weekend set up class! Roughly half of this class is a combination of alignment based Hatha and strong slow flow. Both build up heat and strength in the body (Yang). We then change to the more meditative practice of Yin Yoga. Here you will hold passive floor poses for up to 5 minutes opening the deeper connective tissues of your body.

This method of Yoga brings more flexibility as we open these deep tissues. It also opens up the nadis (or meridians) and so enables a much smoother flow of prana (or chi) around the entire body.

“Very entertaining and encouraging instructor. I like the greenery in the studio too - the surroundings makes it feel like you are in a Balinese resort, it feels very relaxing. ”

“I Love Sarah’s classes! She’s always super friendly and welcoming as well as being very detailed in her instructions. Expect to leave the class rejuvenated after a good workout.”

“Excellent class. Great alignment cues and Sarah’s energy is amazing. 10/10 would come back for her class. Great location too - 1 min to sixth ave mrt!
