FAQs
1) What do I need to wear?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes. Choose appropriately based on how your clothing may respond to sweat, twisting, lying down and bending forward. Cycling shorts under loose shorts work well for men. Layers are great when it’s chilly.
2) What do bring?
Please bring your own mat, a towel or blanket and a water bottle. If you’d like to buy a Yoga mat from me, I sell good mats for £35. Please contact me before class and I’ll bring you one.
3) What physical shape do I need to be in?
If you have tight hamstrings, an on and off niggly knee/shoulder/ankle/hip and feel generally stiff, you’re in the right place.
If you’re recovering from a serious injury, operation or illness please ask your doctor or physio’s advice if you’re ready for yoga.
4) Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
I’m afraid not.
If you’re unable to join a class in the term you can catch up at one of my other Winchester classes choosing from Monday evenings at Crawley, Tuesdays mornings or evenings at Badger Farm, or my Monday online class, including keeping the recording if you can’t make it live.
All the details to those other classes are here.

“I'm now into my second year of learning yoga with Sarah and very much looking forward to the third.
Sarah has to be the best tutor I have ever had when being part of a fitness class. She is very professional, with one of the most member friendly personalities I have ever encountered, and really makes you feel part of the group at whatever level you enter her classes.
Highly recommend joining any of Sarah's yoga groups! “ Chris a regular Friday Yogi
About Sarah
I’ve been teaching full time since 2007 and hold the highest level of qualifications (E-RYT500) with Yoga Alliance, US.
I started Yoga as a teenager and have practiced many styles predominantly Iyengar, Sivananda, Ashtanga, Anusara, Yin and Vinyasa.
I completed my first teacher training in 2007 and began teaching whilst living in Spain. I continued training as a teacher whilst living in Asia and took advanced training courses in Singapore, the US, Indonesia and London.
I’ve lead courses on Yoga International.com, Patreon.com and have had articles on Yoga published in international Yoga magazines.
I was a lead teacher at Apple inc, Singapore and have taught at and build programs at numerous studios, universities and at a corporate level worldwide.
I teach online and in person, lead classes at festivals and international retreats, and offer mentorship programs for teachers. Blending all I feel works well from the Yoga styles I’ve enjoyed, I endeavour to create a fun, engaging learning environment for all levels.
My hope is to guide people to cultivate deeper self awareness and to ignite a spark for living life with a clear purpose and poetry.
My classes are known for their warmth, easy to follow progressions and regressions in poses, clarity and attention to detail.
