An afternoon of Yoga to Soothe the Heart and Rest the Mind
In this workshop I’ll be guiding you through simple Yoga poses and sequences to promote quiet and rest in the body, mind and spirit.
This is perfect for those of you who feel like you rush around a lot, are tired and stressed and need to ease open tightness.
You will also come away with positive and practical ideas taken from Yoga traditions on how to deal with stress as an emotional first aid strategy as well as your more long term perspective.

Expect strong standing poses to begin followed by supported Yin yoga poses, to open the hips and lower back then guided mediations and visualisations in more restorative poses to ease you into a state of deep relaxation and calm.
This is open to people of all levels of Yoga practice, all ages over 15 and all body types.
We will be using props such as blankets, blocks and bolsters as needed so you can feel safe and really relax.
